Our petition to make assaulting a security worker a standalone offence has hit its first milestone of 10,000 signatures and we look forward to receiving a response from the Government.

This could not have been achieved without the help and support of the S12 and all of the security companies and individual security professionals and wider community who signed and supported this in recognition of the violence that UK security workers face every day for simply doing their job.

We would personally like to thank the S12 Security Guarding Leadership Group for making this one of their supported workstreams which moved the conversation further and into the far reaches of the security industry.

The next goal is to reach 100,000 signatures so that there is a chance this can be debated in Parliament.
