It is with deep sadness that the Security Industry Federation informs our members and the wider security community of the passing of our member, Anthony “Tony” Knight, following a long illness.
Tony was a proud Army veteran, a respected security professional, a valued SIF member, and someone who gave much of his life to serving and protecting others.
In Tony’s memory, SIF has now established the Anthony Knight Fund.
The fund has been created to support security workers who are facing serious financial hardship. Every donation received will go towards helping security workers and their families who are in dire need of financial support.
Tony spent his life standing up for others. Through this fund, his name and values will continue to support the people he cared about: security workers who need help, dignity and compassion at their most difficult moments.
On behalf of the SIF, General Secretary, Daniel Garnham, said, “we send our heartfelt condolences to Yvette, Tony’s family, friends, colleagues and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Tony will be remembered with respect, gratitude and pride”.
